CCSHRM History

WELCOME

Charlotte County Society for Human Resource Management was established in 1992. CCSHRM has grown to an organization recognized for its ability to serve the local HR community and our membership by providing current, useful and practical knowledge on human resource laws, issues and educational programs.

CCSHRM is a proud local affiliate chapter of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM); the world's largest association devoted to human resource management. With over 300,00 individual members, the society's mission is both to serve human resource management professionals and to advance the profession. SHRM currently has more than 550 affiliated chapters within the United States and members in more than 100 countries.

The purpose of CCSHRM is to provide opportunities for growth and development to human resource professionals. It is our goal to be the community's leading authority on human resource issues, information, and resource options. It is with this purpose in mind that we serve our membership.
