Speaker #1 – Brian W. Smith, CSP
Brian Smith has been with FCCI for 21 years. He holds the position of Regional Loss Control Manager. His degree is BS Electrical Engineering Technology, Le Tourneau University, Texas.
Speaker #2 – Alan J. Somogyi, CSP
Alan Somogyi has been with FCCI for 14 years. He holds the position of Loss Control Consultant. His degree is BS Safety Sciences and BA Criminology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
The objective will be to present an organized overview of the basic components of a risk control program. Using the outline presented the attendees should be able to review their current programs and practices and compare them to the ideas presented. Then analyze areas that they are currently doing well and areas that may need additional attention for pricing, direct and hidden costs of claims, impact on insurability, impact on employee morale and retention, and impact on quality of products and/or services. In addition, OSHA requirements and revisions, which is relevant since posting requirements are February 1stthrough April 30th.
