    Michele will share the essential elements to keep in mind and items to have prepared before an OSHA complaint lands on your desk, or an OSHA inspector shows up at your door/Jobsite.
    Keeping your people and your organization safe, often not a simple task.  The Biden Administration has indicated that it will request that OSHA (The Occupational Safety and Health Administration) implement more regulations, increase inspections, add additional inspectors, and increase fines.  Learn how to mitigate risk, prepare for an OSHA inspection, and Employer and Employee Rights During an OSHA investigation

    About the Speaker:

    Michele has over 20 years of progressive Human Resources Management, Safety Program Development, and Risk Mitigation experience spanning Construction, Education, Government, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, and Senior Living Industries.  She has a passion for helping organizations and their staff thrive by bringing the Human aspect back to Human Resources and Safety.

    She started Mathews’ HR & Safety Consulting Services in 2017, after having an increase of small and medium-sized business owners reaching out for guidance and assistance due to the recognition she was receiving regionally for her procedures and training,

    Michele is a Certified Safety Management Specialist (SMS), an OSHA Authorized Trainer, as well as an American Red Cross Authorized Trainer, and has both the Professional Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designations.  Michele also has an M.B.A. with an HR Concentration.

    Additionally, Michele currently serves on the board of HR Tampa as the Director Certification and has since 2021; she has been on the Certification Committee since 2018.
