    Succession planning is essential to the long-term survival of a company. This presentation will teach you the difference between succession planning and mere replacement planning and how to prepare people to take on the responsibilities of leadership so that the company thrives in the transition.

    Jean received her Bachelor of Arts degree, where she majored in Psychology and she holds an MBA degree with a concentration in Human Resources. 

    She received recognition as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute and was later granted lifetime certification. She was also awarded certification as a Certified Business Manager by the APBM.

    Her background is in human resources at the executive level.  Although she travels a lot, Florida is home. She teaches college business and management courses on an adjunct basis for several colleges, both online and in the classroom.  She has been published and is frequently interviewed by business magazines. As a trainer, she has provided training to Pepsi-Cola, the National Guard and the VA.

    Jean was named “HR Professional of the Year” twice by human resources professional association chapters.
